They have 5 tapped holes  so they can be bolted together in pairs to form custom sizes, angle plates, V-blocks, etc. Set includes 2 matched blocks.

  • Squareness on all sides to within .0001
  • 23 holes: 5 tapped 3/8-16 ; 18 untapped thru holes
  • Includes 5 x Bolts to suit as well as Key assist
  • The cross drilling is designed to give minimum weight yet maximum strength

 Applications for precision 1-2-3" blocks:

  1. Workholding: 3-2-1 blocks are used as work holding fixtures to hold parts securely in place during machining operations. They are often used in combination with clamps, vises, and other workholding devices.

  2. Inspection: These blocks are also used for inspection purposes, as they provide a stable and precise reference surface for checking the accuracy of parts and measuring equipment.

  3. Alignment: 3-2-1 blocks are used to align parts and machines in various manufacturing processes. They can be used to set up machines, check the alignment of parts, and ensure that everything is in the correct position.

  4. Calibration: In some cases, 3-2-1 blocks are used to calibrate measurement instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators. They provide a precise and stable reference surface for these instruments.
