To suit drill presses that do not have MT driven spindles and are fixed direct to the chuck.

When using larger reduced shank drills such as 1", it is advised to open up the hole with a series of drills, to save damaging the chuck.

This process saves the drills grabbing.

This set has been RC tested and are content with 62-63 rockwell.
