Our 26-blade feeler gauge consists of 26 individual metal blades of varying thicknesses, each marked with the corresponding measurement. The feeler gauge is marked from .0015" (or 0.0015 inches) to .025" (or 0.025 inches). Our gauge will also have the metric equivalent marked on each blade
The purpose of a feeler gauge is to measure the clearance or gap between two components. Each blade of the feeler gauge represents a specific thickness, allowing you to determine the precise clearance by finding the blade that fits snugly between the components without being too loose or too tight.
The blades are marked at intervals of 0.001 inches. Starting from the thinnest blade, you would find blades marked at .0015", .002", .0025", and so on, until the thickest blade marked at .025". This range of blade thicknesses allows for measuring a variety of gaps and clearances in different applications.
