ALL 3 ARE CARBON STEEL TAPS & HAVE A STARTER LEAD IN FOR EASIER THREAD PICK UP
Includes:
- 1/8" X 28 TPI TAPERED THREAD LARGE DIAMETER OF THREAD .370"
- 1/4" X 19 TPI TAPERED THREAD LARGE DIAMETER OF THREAD .500"
- 3/8" X 19 TPI TAPERED THREAD LARGE DIAMETER OF THREAD .640"
ALL 3 TAPS HAVE A STARTER LEAD IN FOR EASIER THREAD PICK UP
*please Note carbon Steel Taps & Dies are not recommended for Stainless Steel and other High Tensile Steels, we recommend HSS Taps & Dies for this purpose
Also when retapping welded up holes HSS would be a more better option for that purpose.
